This website, the official website of Yoni Sharf — The Mentalist, attaches great importance to providing an equal and accessible service to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We invest efforts and resources in making the website accessible, in accordance with the Equality of Rights for People with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 2013, and the Israeli Standard SI 5568 which is based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines.
Accessibility Adjustments on the Site
- Full keyboard navigation throughout the site, including menus, gallery, video player, and forms
- "Skip to content" link at the top of each page
- Persistent accessibility menu (on the left side of the screen) allowing: text enlargement, high contrast, highlighting links, and stopping animations
- Support for the operating system's "reduced motion" preference — animations and animated backgrounds are automatically disabled
- Alternative text (alt) for images, and marking decorative elements as hidden from screen readers
- Accessible popups (gallery, video player): focus trap, close with Escape key, and returning focus to its original place
- Standard page structure with marked navigation and content areas, and language/direction markup (English, LTR)
- Visibly focusable interactive elements
- Color contrast meeting the standard requirements for key content elements
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible:
- Embedded YouTube videos depend on captions provided by the YouTube channel
- The 3D video carousel may be complex to operate with certain screen readers — you can also play any video using the keyboard and navigation arrows
